Is there a cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require that you contact us at least two-hours prior to your scheduled  appointment time.

  • Rescheduling your appointment with less than two-hours notice will incur a fee of $50
  • Failing to attend a scheduled appointment will incur a fee of $100

These fees are applicable to all patients and are not claimable on your private health fund. If you are claiming your consultation fee through Medicare or WorkCover you will be required to self-pay your cancellation fee. The cancellation fee cannot be bulk billed. Further appointments will not be booked until the outstanding cancellation fee has been paid.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. In Australia accredited exercise physiologists are first contact practitioners, so a referral is not required to attend. There may be some circumstances however, where a doctor’s clearance may be recommended for participants with particular health conditions.
