As a dual titled APA Physiotherapist, Nic holds both Musculoskeletal and Sports and Exercise titles. Since graduating in 1994, he has worked extensively in private practice with clients with back, neck, pelvis, hip and shoulder complaints. Nic also has extensive experience working with elite athletes and sports teams, including the Australian ice sports athletes at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and the Australian Speed Skating and Skier X teams at World Cup and World Championship events. Nic has also been involved at the OWIA training camps for ski athletes in Jindabyne and Perisher, as well as working with the Melbourne Ice Hockey Men’s and Women’s teams, AFL, rugby union, athletics, triathlon and has worked as physiotherapist at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

As a lover of ice and snowsports and the various football sports over the years, Nic has developed a passion and skill for concussion management and recently completed his Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) Practitioner certification. The CCMI program provides partnered clinics with everything needed to implement an effective, evidence-based concussion management program. Through the use of state-of-the-art concussion testing and management software, Nic is able to implement the CCMI program, which has been proven to improve patient outcomes, and stay at the forefront of concussion management, treatment, and rehabilitation.

As well as travelling the world as a principal educator for Polestar Pilates Australia, Nic has worked at both Mt Hotham and Canada ski instructing, ski guiding and running avalanche skills training courses. More recently, Nic and his wife Cathy moved to the Albury-Wodonga region for a tree change and to spend more time with their three daughters in the mountains and beautiful countryside.

Pre kids, Nic spent much time climbing (including quite a bit at Mt Buffalo), running, cycling, surfing and, until moving in 2020, played water polo with his original team (having played with Monash University since 1986).
