Originally from Grafton and moved to Canberra for studies. She graduated in 2022 with Bachelor of Physiotherapy with class one honours from the University of Canberra. Katie’s interest in physiotherapy stems from her caring nature and passion for promoting a physical activity lifestyle. She enjoys helping people achieve their physical best through utilising a variety of manual therapy techniques, exercise, and education. Outside of work Katie is a keen middle to long distance runner competing at a national level. Through her own injury experiences, she has a strong understanding of the impact pain and injury have on one’s physical and mental health. She is particularly interested in treating and preventing running related injuries, osteoarthritis, and back pain. When not treating in the clinic, you will find Katie running around the streets and trails of Canberra training for her next running event.
