Jacinta graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1991. A breadth of experiences as a physiotherapist in Queensland, NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and New Zealand in both the public and private sectors have given her the opportunity to explore many of the different facets of the profession and to have had the great fortune to gain guidance from some wonderful mentors.
Truly holistic in her approach, Jacinta has completed further studies at the Watson Headache Institute and is skilled in the management and treatment of headaches and migraines, as well as neck pain and vestibular issues. Having also completed the Integrated Acupuncture Level 3 course in 2012, Jacinta often incorporates acupuncture and the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine into much of her work. Jacinta believes that working in healthcare is not just about treating an injury or illness, but enabling that person to live their life with vitality and purpose.
When she’s not at work you can usually find her in my garden or walking up a hill somewhere.
