Exercise and Sports Science Australia Member

Emma grew up in Albury and began her journey with Flexout Health after graduating from Deakin University with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2016, and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2014.

Emma is passionate about providing and delivering exercise physiology services to her local area and is proud to be part of the largest and most comprehensive exercise physiology service in the region. Her areas of interest include helping to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart conditions, as well as weight management and lifestyle modification through exercise. She also works in the chronic pain space, using an evidence based biopsychosocial approach to pain management. In all that she does, Emma aims to encourage healthy behaviour change and the use of exercise as medicine. Emma has an abundance of accreditations and certifications with organisations such as Diabetes Victoria, NSW and Australia and the Lung Foundation, and has spent many hours educating the community on the benefits of physical activity.

Outside work, Emma certainly practises what she preaches. She coaches and plays netball for the Howlong Spiders and loves going on beach holidays and exploring the walking tracks of the Albury-Wodonga region.
