Carina graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010 and began working as a Grade 1 rotational physiotherapist at Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton. It was here she developed an interest in women’s health physiotherapy before finding her love for paediatrics. In 2015, Carina began working as a physiotherapist at the Victorian Peadiatric Rehabilitation Service, Goulburn Valley, as part of an outreach service for the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. It was here she discovered her true passion.

When Carina joined Flexout Health, she was able to bring her paediatric assessment and rehabilitation skills into the private sector and to fill an important gap in service delivery in the local community. Although she has a special interest in developmental delay and neurological conditions, she truly enjoys seeing anyone in the paediatric population. Carina loves the challenge of finding creative and fun ways for families to participate in therapy and watching as the children grow in skill and confidence in their daily lives. Carina is a trained Theratogs prescriber, is a Certified DMA Clinical Pilates Physiotherapist and has completed multiple paediatric courses with a focus on typical development and neurological conditions.

When Carina is not at work, you will find her at home with her family, outside getting fresh air or down at the Beechworth Football and Netball Club.
